Joint Techtrade–Iscar workshop in Ekaterinburg

A technical workshop was held in Pumori Corporation’s Engineering Centre in Ekaterinburg on 5 December on the subject: "Metal-cutting basics. The latest in cutting and clamping tools".

The workshop was organized by Techtrade (a member of Pumori Corporation) and Iscar Russia.

The goal of the workshop was presentation of new models of PUMORI clamping tools and ISCAR cutting tools aimed at cutting costs and increasing productivity. Both companies’ tool solutions are, indeed, unique. They embody the long-term expertise confirmed by tests and guarantee considerable competitive advantages.

Besides, a universal machine-tool monitoring system, Dispatcher, and an integrated solution for effective tool management based on IMC Group’s Matrix intelligent toolbox.

The workshop was attended by representatives of leading machine-building companies of the Ural Region, such as PO Oktyabr, Ural Locomotives, Machine-Building Holding a. o.

That was the first large-scale event held in Ekaterinburg with the participation of Iscar. The metalworking specialists were very interested, especially in the field tests performed on Pumori’s equipment.

The attendees were greatly impressed by Pumori’s new production facility, which many of them were seeing for the first time, and they appreciated its modernity and aesthetic look.
