TASS, 10 June. Pumori Corporation has made a preliminary summary of its participation in the Metalloobrabotka International Exhibition, which was held in the Krasnaya Presnya Expocentre, Moscow, on 24–28 May 2021.
The press service of the Corporation pointed out that the exhibition had been cancelled last year because of the pandemic restrictions.
“Pumori’s stand was visited by over 2200 people — that is at the level of the year 2019. Almost 800 negotiations have been held, a 70% increase against the previous Metalloobrabotka. The demand for equipment has gone up by 25%. Proceeding from those and other figures, it can be concluded that the participation in the fair has been successful and it has generated a serious potential for further work,” says the release.
The press service pointed out that the stand exhibited, among others, new clamping tools designed in the Corporation; Okuma–Pumori machines; a PUMORI ROBOTICS automated fitting complex; an automated workcell with loading/unloading and inspection of machined parts on an ACE–Pumori co-manufactured machine-tool. For the first time the Corporation demonstrated the CMS Antares gantry for composites and aluminum alloys, a VLB CNC tube bender, and IMET bandsaw machinery. Some of the other world-renowned manufacturers whose products were presented on the Pumori stand included Okamoto, Davi, Mitutoyo, Iscar, a. o.
The press service added that in the course of the exhibition, a Roundtable of the Federal Network of Pumori Corporation Training and Demonstration Centres was held on the subject “Present-day objectives of Training and Demonstration Centres with regard to development of engineering and modernization of Russian machine-building in the context pf Industry 4.0”.
“Now, the Corporation is summing up more detailed results and preparing action plans based on the information and contact data obtained in the exhibition,” said the Corporation’s spokesperson.
